Belinda
Practicum Counsellor

Belinda is currently completing her postgraduate studies in Counselling Psychology and undertaking her practicum at Calming Hearts.
Originally from Australia, Belinda has called Singapore home for almost 20 years. Growing up navigating between cultures has given her a genuine understanding of what it means to move between different worlds, identities, and expectations. She brings this lived experience into her work, and connects naturally with people from a wide range of cultural backgrounds and life paths.
She is passionate about supporting people through life's challenges and is particularly interested in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, and periods of feeling stuck or uncertain. Volunteering has been an important part of her life and has further strengthened her desire to support and connect with others.
Belinda values creating an authentic, non-judgemental space where clients feel comfortable being themselves. She aims to bring warmth, curiosity, and genuine care to each session, supporting clients as they explore their challenges and move towards meaningful change.
She takes an integrative and client-centred approach, drawing from different therapeutic perspectives to best meet each individual's needs and goals.
Outside of counselling, Belinda enjoys strength training, long walks, travelling, experiencing different cultures, and connecting with people from all walks of life
